I hate rainy days...

Gee... I really hate rainy days... It's always so depressive (but v nice to sleep in =D) Anyway, was doing OT till abt 10 plus pm (due to the fact that I had training the whole day and everything just loves to come together at the same time. I can just hear my bf going,"It's the law of attraction, dear") and when I came out, guess what? It's raining meow and wuff. Talk about demoralising...

Anyway, got to work again tml and I can just imagine how long tml's morning fab yield meeting will be. Maybe the 9E FY will pissed me off again. The other time, one statement from him just raised the hackles of the 4 workarea FY immediately. "I don't care about spec!" That's the joke of the year. Imagine what would happen if LCK is there at that time...

Luckily got retail and salsa therapy on saturday. Hahaha... Was supposed to go shopping with Joanna, moi best friend, and in the end I am the one buying most of the things: 2 tshirts, 1 pair of shoes, 1 scraf/belt, 2 jackets, 1 cheong samy top XD And the Spanish Harlem Orchestra are FANTASTIC!!!!! The songs are a bit too long for my liking though... But still, danced till my feet are crying. Luckily never attend the workshops, else I will be crying. But I shall aim to go for the workshops next year. Which means I have a lot to improve on. Like how to shine, improve my spins and body movement etc etc... I WILL GO FOR WORKSHOPS NEXT YEAR!!!

Last day as a shift engineer

Well... as today ended, i have ended my last day as a shift engineer... From tml onwards, will be taking over from JC as FYC, but man... I'm tired... It's tough switching from night shift to day shift within a day, but heck, tml will be worth it. Gonna be a half day when after that I get to spend some quality time with Phil and FINALLY get to go salsa after a 1mth drought... But seriously, as I left the line this evening, my feelings were mixed. Partially am relieved that I no longer have to face you-know-who and partially am sad to leave the friends I had among the operators... That's silly isn't it? I mean, I still can see them when they come to day shift. Oh well, maybe I will become happier with regular hours of sleep and ablity to spend more time with my friends, whom I have been on the MIA list for more than 1/2 year already... Oh well...

Tired... really tired...

Man... This week was literally hell in ST... gotten so freaking tired just walking and walking and inspecting and inspecting... haizzz... so tired that i did not really enjoy salsaing yesterday. was just sitting out and stoning after a few bad dances while Philbert dances with the performers. They are really good though.

guess what, i just recently had my grad nite (which i had to call up pple and organise the details myself) and my convocation! was quite glad that everyone had a great time, cos was realy nervous that things will not turn out right... and as organiser, somehow i cannot really mingle with the guests... was quite sad about it as didn't take a lot of pictures =(

but the convocation sorta made up for it as i was literally running around on high heels since 330 to take pictures with everyone! and joanna came down as well!!! yeah!!! but kinda bad that she had to be the camera man for me though... but never mind, i will made it up to her come wednesday! cos i am getting two tixs to the singapore idol spectatculars! and guess what, when i informed her, she was screaming into my ears... ahahahaha... now i guess she have called pple and lord it over them =)

yupz... i should blog more often ne... keep on forgetting details... like what happened during buddy's and huifang's bdae... =( oh, and i will be employed come august! yatta!!!!

P.S. arashi is the best!!! *foaming at mouth just thinking about them* captain's the best guy in the world!!!!

after the hk trip, had a lot of fun with my salsa clique... i think i have been hanging around them a lot nowadays =) went sentosa with them, had bbqs with them... now it's not just limited to salsa only, we doing more and more things as a group. really glad that they are ard, especially since my uni friends have been scattered in the wind since our exams... cos had been quite depressed over my job search... at least during salsa, i won't think about depressing stuff at all...

okay... REALLY LONG since i last updated my blog... be prepared for a super long one...

first of all, i had a great time at hk! on the first day, we reach hk at ard noon, so settled down at vivi's place followed by shopping. hk is so crowded!!! seriously... got myself a nice pair of shoes and a bag that day too!

then on the 2nd day, we went disney!!! we woke up early though... it gets v bright v early at hk... so it's 6am even though the sky's as if it was 8am... vivi's grandparents treated us dim sum for breakfast! then we went to disneyland, and omg, it's like a dream come through... seriously... the disney train, the entrance, everything! i was so touched by it... got so excited taking pics with tigger, mickey, winnie, chip and dale etc etc, the pics gonna give me wonderful memories... also seen the disney parade! heehee, was sitting at the road so got nice view of everything. then in the evening, was watching the fireworks... it was so beautiful when it was accompanied by the disney songs... was so touched that i cried towards the end (though i think no one knew abt it)

on the third day, we went to lantau island... prior to that, we have hk style breakfast, which didn't agreed with my stomach... urgh... it was such that when we were taking the boat, i nearly gotten seasick (which i never get seasick, ever... i get carsick though...) it was kinda unfortunate that it was foggy that day... cannot see the huge buddha at all... well, we kinda goof around the place XDD got some funny pics taken down... then towards the evening, we had xu liu shan, a famous dessert store in hk. it was delicious!

on the fourth day, we went to macau with vivi's grandfather. visited a lot of places, especially to casinos... wah... my first time there... big eyes opener... so many pple gambling... the roulette is scary though... v scary... vivi's grandpa also treated us the roast goose!

on the fifth day, we went to the peak and took lotsa pics at the wax museum! heehee! took one with ayumi hamasaki as well as brad pitt... a pity arashi and other taiwanese singers are not there... hm... again, as there is a lot of fog, we could not see the scenery from the peak... a pity again... the tram ride was fun though, remind me of the scene they used in ccs. heehee, it was so steep!!!

on the sixth and last day, we went shopping non stop... seriously... it was so fun over there... vivi's relative also treated us to a home made dinner at their place! everyone's so welcoming over there! it was with regret when i left the place... i missed vivi so much...

okay... in 40 minutes time, i will board the plane to hongkong... MY FIRST EVER AIRPLANE FLIGHT!!! so excited about it... but damn... my excitement the last few days is now causing my body to be weak... now a bit fluish as well as feverish... once i get on the plane and take off (we got window seats!) i will jolly well going to sleep!!! over and out at the changi airport!

well... exams’ over... by right i should be more free to blog, but ahaha... first thing, happy bdae to beeyan and me~ we’re older already, omg...

anyway, went clubbing with vivi and Loretta on 3rd may, and oh my god... on our way to double o, we saw a motorcyclist being knocked down by a speeding taxi... it was so horrible... one moment, everything was so peaceful, the next, you just heard a loud bang and you see things flying... and the motorcyclist is motionless on the floor... when we reached the club, we were like, omg, i dun wanna club anymore... and a few days later, i heard that it’s a fatal accident... RIP, unnamed motorcyclist. may you be able to find peace...

on my bdae, went to plaza sing with sandy, kaiwei, vivi and jazz to watch movie. went to the new cathay building to watch the wild. damn noisy movie man... haha... after that, went to have pasta at pasta café, since i am such a pasta lover (vivi called me a pasta monster though...) and went to help kaiwei to hunt down her berms for her usa work and travel thing... ah... received a mug from sandy and kaiwei with our pic on it, and vivi drew me a card!!! with my fav pair of twins from ouran high school host club too~ (btw, for those who never watch anime, ouran high school host club is a good series to start with. so stupidly funny XDDDD i simply love hikaru and kaoru with their almost yaoi moves that just screams of incest XDD) i love you vivi! am so going to miss vivi when she returns to Canada...

the next day, had my first salsa lessons! went to two left feet dance school at Chinatown. rmmate was there too, taking refresher course =D and i’ve gotten a beach bag from her XDD anyway, i am so shy at the class!!! i mean, first class and we partner up already! ahaah... but most of the guys also v awkward with the steps... i mean, not used to it i guess.. but the class was fun =D wendy, the instructor for the ladies, is so genki XDD

then on 9th may, i had my freaking fyp presentation... completed my slides the day before and din rehearse much as i completely lost my voice... was so freaking scared that i cannot speak on 9th may itself... T_T so swallowed nearly one whole bottle of pei pa kao within one day... nearly overdosed... but luckily i regained my voice, abit husky though... my presentation is scheduled at 4pm, so i went there an hour earlier... then, apparently qiu jianhai, my examiner sent me an email to ask me to come down early but i didn’t received it... so lucky on my part again... think during the presentation, he has no idea what i am doing, since he’s a corrosion person and mine is about block copolymer... then at the end, he just ask, “so what are the difficulties you faced during the project?” after i faithfully answered, he just stood up and thank me, and i was like, “that’s it!? i panicked for half an hour prior presentation, and that’s it!?” end up stunned... so my presentation took half an hour... started at 3.40pm, ended at 4.10pm... and that’s it! i am a graduate O_O... moved back to home that day as well... and i think it’s the combination of dust and relieve that made me sick with flu... ah...

met up with weiqi and co on the 11th may to celebrate beeyan’s and mine bdae... met weiqi earlier on as she had an interview and don’t want to hold on to bee’s present during the interview... went to get the internet router, cds and multiconnect, and boy was that heavy... end up had to ask zhijian and soohorng to help me hold on it... anyway, had pasta again... at this Italian restaurant at raffles city. qi ordered garlic snails risotto... ew... it was black and everyone say it taste like chicken, but it looks disgusting!!! >_< lucky i stick to my pasta... ahaaha... gotten star shaped earrings (i haven’t bought any for years already) and a wallet from them... but hor... dunno how to say... i doubt i will use that wallet frequently... since it is in blue... ah...

also went for my second salsa class yesterdae... it was so fun!!! turned till i dizzy, ahaaha... went to the salsa club at the union square after class with my classmates =D my first time there, and there’s so many people doing salsa XDDD seeing people spinning like mad over there. and i danced with peter, nigel and amerson XD and i kept on messing up my steps as i am not used to wearing heels. (was wearing flats during class) at least the three guys are patient with me =D then got two ah pek who came and ask me to dance... i was like omg... i onli started last week leh!!!! but they are v patient, v good at teaching. taught me a lot of new moves, even though i am such a poor student... did a total of 5 dance with they, and spun and spun and spun XDD then my classmates called me the uncle killer... T_T there’s this guy called robin who also taught me, apparently he learnt at a different school, but not bad lah, can lead me to do the complicated turns XDD i think it must be the skirt that make people ask me to dance... ahhaa... one thing for sure, if i am going salsa dancing, i do not need alcohol. the spinning itself will make me v high already XDDDDDDDD
